An old 17th century domain open to the public that offers cultural, recreational, and sports activities, a space open to wellness and events, located in the heart of a 7-hectare biodiversity reserve. The renovated buildings and park aim to restore the atmosphere evoked by traditional villages, with its central square, bell tower, marketplace, grand hall, offices, cafe-bar, shops, … including a 250-vehicle parking space, a fountain, a farm and botanical garden edged with canals that flow into the surrounding marsh… This unique destination is located between La Rochelle and its islands: Ré, Oléron, Madame, Aix and Le Fort Boyard.
LA BELLEVILLOISE.
The main venue for cultural events in East Paris, the Bellevilloise just celebrated its 10th anniversary. It has now become a French reference, a source of inspiration for many rehabilitated sites into cultural spaces. Originally a “House of the people,” the Bellevilloise in Paris has preserved the welcoming and intimate spirit of a home, unlike new standardized spaces. The same mindset applies in Rochefort, where a cosmopolitan and modern atmosphere will prevail, at a human scale.
